The Main Beach and Lodge

Located in the center of the Hideout's south section, is the Main Beach and Lodge Complex. The hub of a lot of summer activity, the lodge is going all year long for bigger community events.

Beach and Pool

Situated perfectly on Roamingwood Lake, the Hideout's 240 acre power boating lake, is the main beach. Here you will find a white sandy beach, heated pool, heated baby pool, changing area and food service. Both pool and beach have life guards on duty for your protection. If you prefer, just catch a couple of rays and read a book or watch the water skiers go by. The views of the lake are superb. The summer holidays are always geared up with festivities, music, boat decorating contests, food and we even have our own 4th of July fireworks.

Main Lodge

Overlooking the main lake is the Hideout's Main Lodge.  Make your reservations early, because most of the functions held here are a quick sell out. The food and entertainment are always fabulous. Get all decked out and ring in the New Year or come down for a blast of a good time at "a Night at the Races". For all you romantics, there is normally a Valentine's dance and dinner, right after that get your green on for St Patrick's Day and come fall they go all out with the wursts at the Octoberfest. The clubhouse is also available to its members for private parties..whether your company's Christmas Party or your daughter's wedding, you will find the food staff will be there to make your event a sure success.

Tiki Bar or Tennis Anyone?

The fun just doesn't stop...After a hard day of playing tennis or laying on the beach, why not call your friends and meet them down at the Tiki Bar. They have a great menu, featuring stuffed sandwiches, burgers and various seafood apps. Occassionally they will entertain you with a low keyed band or outdoor movie night. Always fun, don't let the day end without a stop at the Tiki Bar.

Finally, scattered throughout the community, you will find meticulously maintained outdoor (and indoor) tennis courts. Included in your annual dues, the Hideout does ask that you reserve the outdoor courts to make sure they are available. For the indoor courts there is a small fee for their useage. Call the rec group for rates and availability.
